House Rules for an Enjoyable Stay

To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, please adhere to the following house rules:

  • We kindly ask that you do not invite additional guests or host any parties or events.
  • Thermostats are located in the living room, at the top of the stairs, and in the master bedroom. During the summer, please set them to 78 degrees.
  • Please remove your shoes upon entering the home and avoid eating or drinking in the bedrooms.
  • For the comfort of all guests, we request that you do not rearrange the furniture, and smoking is not permitted indoors.
  • Check-out time is important, so please follow the cleaning guidelines provided. Any damages will need to be covered by the guest.
  • Use the garbage disposal carefully, and respect our towels and linens by not taking them to the beach.
  • We invite up to two dogs, but please ensure they stay off the furniture. After your stay, please take out the trash and store it in the garage until you leave, then place it in the dumpster.
  • The grill is stored in the garage to deter bears; please return it there after use.
  • Feel free to enjoy the paddle boards, paddle boat, and canoe. Just remember to swim at your own risk and refrain from diving off the dock. Life jackets are available for your safety; please wear them when using any water toys.

Kitchen Instructions

Here are some important tips for using the kitchen:

  • Garbage Disposal: The disposal is located in the middle sink. To operate it, place the sink stopper inside the disposal and turn it to the right to secure it. Then, press the switch located on the wall above the sink to the right to activate it.
  • Stairwell Lighting: To illuminate the stairwell, look for the light switch on the wall behind you as you look down the stairs.
  • Grill Maintenance: If you decide to use the grill, please remember to clean the drip pan after each use. The pan can be easily slid out from the back of the grill, helping to prevent any fire hazards.
