Come paint with Stephanie Brunell founder of Painted Lotus. Stephanie’s bio:
I wondered who I was, almost 50 years old, without the titles of various jobs I no longer could work at, due to disabilities. As a former competition and award winning chef, and a florist that loved doing weddings and events, I felt a nudge to create, and have that joy and passion I used to find in my daily jobs. So did I find that creative joy again? I sure did!!!
I’m a creative and curious individual with a passion for exploring and learning new things. Over the last two years I learned how to garden and grow my own produce from seed. I learned how to can what I grew in the garden, (which is a science, not a creative past-time I found out…) I learned how to draw, paint, and craft various things. I went on a self awareness journey over this past winter, which led me down a path of learning who I actually am.
I found how healing art could be, even if it wasn’t perfect to look at. It helped me appreciate and understand myself more, and that I could find humor and beauty in the mistakes of not only what I was creating, but of my own physical self.
In this chapter of my life I want to share my art, and guide others to the fun of creativity. EVEN if you don’t think you have a creative bone in your body…My local artist business offers “fun art”, not “fine art” paint classes, in person, virtual live, and virtual pre-recorded.

1:00 – 2:30 Discovery Walk – A Discovery walk through HighLake’s scenic property and along Wisconsin’s snowmobile trails – an immersive journey to explore and connect with nature.
2:30 – 3:30 Mocktail Hour – Socialize while learning how to make Mocktails – 3 recipes will be available.
